This is a print in place winding spool I designed for standard length soft measuring tapes (60" / 150 cm) having width up to ¾" / 20 mm. If you need a version for a 120"/300cm soft tape, you can find it <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/380358#profileId-280542" rel="nofollow noopener">here</a>.&nbsp;After removing from the print bed, use a little force to free the spool from some small support, and run the spool back and forth a few time to smooth it out. Putting a few drops of light oil in the top center hole will make it run even smoother. I've printed in both matte and basic PLA with good success.&nbsp;Do not use supports. You may get a floating regions warning from your slicer telling you to use supports or to reorient, but print the model bottom side down without supports. I also suggest using 0.2mm layer height if you choose not to print with the uploaded .3mf print profile.

<h2>Y Splitter made for Bambulab X1C</h2><h3> Print with ABS or PETG with brim and without support. Cut bowden properly at 90 degrees and insert fully (15mm, using a rag and some force; the bowden inputs are slightly conical). It will hold very well.</h3><h2> If you have problems, you could reprint the splitter slightly smaller, say at 98% or so.</h2>&nbsp;<ul><li>Follow the filament's natural path for both AMS and external spool. The filament path in all available Y-Splitter designs is optimal only for the AMS. <h3>Toothpick gun thing:</h3><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/505910/2024-01-28_jo8z4727eq1q.gif"></figure> Why? :  This is another one of those projects I've been meaning to complete for some time, similarly to my other print in place rubber band gun. This one features a straightforward design, it has a special compliant mechanism that launches toothpicks when the trigger is activated. Versions explained : The V1 is basically just the first iteration of the model, not refined nor the best of the best, the S for the other one stands for “strong” meaning its compliant mechanism is stronger and can shoot further. The V1R is basically the final version of this model, it has been refined to be more comfortable to hold and shoot, it is a bit more solid when being used and can shoot further. The S in the other variant of this stands for the same thing as before, which is “strong”.
