💂‍♂️ From Prompt to Print! 💂‍♂️ I just uploaded a new profile for this 50mm Napoleonic Musketeer. I used an AI-generated image and Meshy to create the STL, then spent time dialing in the Bambu A1 settings to make sure it looks crisp in PLA Matte White. The best part? The tree supports are tuned to pop right off, though you’ll want to be careful around that tiny bayonet! Check out the "Arachne" detail on the gear—it's impressive for a 50mm FDM print.

⚔️ Just uploaded my "Resting Knight" model! ⚔️ I wanted a version of the Elden Ring protagonist that actually looks good coming off an FDM printer. By removing the cloak, I managed to get those crisp armor lines on my Bambu A1 without a mess of supports hiding the detail. Pro-Tip: Watch out for that sword! It's a thin print, so treat it with care during post-processing. Even with a little "battle damage" repair, it’s a centerpiece for any desk. Check it out and let me know how yours turns out!

We’ve come a long way from the Roman Gladius and the Medieval Sword. Designing the Modern Operator was a lesson in "functional complexity." Unlike the smooth plates of the Knight, the modern soldier is covered in modular gear, straps, and sensors.

I designed this model with AI to be a "love letter" to hard-surface modeling. While the earlier warriors relied on organic, rough textures like fur and mud, this one is all about clean lines and mechanical precision. Printing this on the Bambu A1 at 0.12mm really shows off what modern FDM can do—the armor plates are crisp, and the integrated tech-base looks like it was pulled straight from a sci-fi hangar.

In my previous attempt at this Medieval Knight, the sword was historically accurate but physically impossible to print at 50mm without collapsing. For this version, I went back to the "forge." I’ve redesigned the pose and exaggerated the thickness of the blade just enough to ensure it survives the support removal process while still looking sharp on your shelf. Printing this at 0.12mm on my Bambu A1 really showed off the transition from the heavy plate armor to the flexible chainmail joints

"Beyond the wire, there is only mud and silence." The year is 1916. The bright uniforms and grand parades of the previous century are a distant memory. When I sat down to design this piece for the Evolution of Combat series, I didn't want a "toy soldier." I wanted to capture the weight of history. I wanted you to feel the heavy, rain-soaked wool of the greatcoat and the cold grip on the bolt-action rifle.

"The Democratization of Destruction" This miniature represents the Musketeer / Line Infantry, the soldier who ended the era of the knight. No longer was warfare reserved for the elite; with a musket and a bayonet, a disciplined line of soldiers could reshape empires. This model is specifically designed for 3D printing enthusiasts who want high detail without the headache of fragile parts.

The Legion is ready! 🛡️ Roman printed at 0.12mm Content: Just finished printing this Roman Legionary and the details on the Lorica Segmentata armor are super sharp! I used a 0.12mm layer height on my Bambu Lab. The model is designed really well for FDM—the sword is thick enough to be sturdy, and the shield provides a great base of support. Great addition to any historical army or display shelf. #3dprinting #bambulab #makerworld #romanempire #legionary #miniature #tabletop #history

Just finished printing this Classical Greek Hoplite and the results are incredibly clean! I used a 0.12mm layer height to capture all the details on the muscle armor and the Corinthian helmet. The model is designed to be sturdy – the spear and shield printed perfectly without being fragile. If you’re looking for a historical miniature that is easy to print and looks great, give this one a try. #3dprinting #bambulab #makerworld #hoplite #ancientgreece #miniature #printingsuccess

Just finished printing this awesome Paleolithic Hunter figurine and I’m blown away by the details! I ran this at 0.12mm layer height and the texture on the furs and the definition of the spear came out superb. It's a challenging but very rewarding print. If you are looking for a detailed historical miniature, definitely give this one a try. The file is available on my profile! #3dprinting #paleolithic #miniature #bambulab #makerworld #stoneage #printsuccess

They say "Finish Him!", but my printer almost finished me on this one! My first attempt at this Liu Kang figure ended in disaster when a leg detached mid-print. I went back to the slicer, added a custom base for stability, and dialed in a dedicated 0.2mm nozzle profile. The result? Absolute victory. If you've been scared to try 0.2mm nozzles, this profile is your safe starting point. Download, slice, and let me know how it goes! Also, feel free to create a new print profile for a 0.4mm nozzle.
