Kliko Project – Development Update & What’s Next
IntroductionThe Kliko Truck project has been progressing steadily, and I’d like to share an overview of the current state of development, what has been completed so far, and what is planned next. This project is designed as a modular system, focused on creating a consistent and expandable collection of vehicles, trailers, and accessories.Current ProgressThe Tractor Unit and Rigid Truck have now been completed and uploaded. These models form the foundation of the Kliko Truck system and establish the core design, scale, and connection standards for future additions. They are currently undergoing platform verification. As these are CyberBrick models, this process may take up to 3 business days. In parallel, additional work has been carried out to improve overall quality and usability:Refining tolerances for reliable printingOptimizing parts for easier assembly and durabilityPreparing clear and structured assembly instructionsThe focus has been to ensure that the models are not only detailed, but also practical and consistent to build. What Makes This Project DifferentKliko Truck is designed as a modular system rather than a single standalone release.Key principles include:Interchangeable components across different buildsExpandable functionality with future additionsA unified scale and connection approachOngoing development with new content over timeThe aim is to create a system that can grow and remain consistent as new elements are introduced. What’s Coming NextWith the core vehicles completed, the next stage of development is already underway.First Release ExpansionWork is currently focused on delivering the first stretch goal, which is already in progress and will be available soon.Trailers and Additional ContentUpcoming additions will include:Official Kliko trailersFunctional cargo solutionsAdditional parts and upgradesAll new elements are being designed to integrate smoothly with the existing models.Ongoing ImprovementsFurther updates will continue to focus on:Refinements to existing partsImprovements to instructionsAdjustments based on community feedbackFuture Expansion – Shared Scale SystemA key direction for the project is expanding beyond the initial vehicle types.Future releases will introduce additional vehicles built in the same scale and designed to be compatible with the existing system. This allows for a wider range of configurations and use cases while maintaining consistency across all models. The long-term goal is to develop a connected system of vehicles and components that work together in a cohesive way.Community FeedbackThis is a detailed and evolving project, and while extensive testing has been done, there may still be areas that can be improved. If you notice anything that could be refined, such as fit, clarity of instructions, or general usability, feel free to reach out. It is very helpful in improving the overall quality of the project.ClosingThe project is now moving from the initial development stage into a broader expansion phase. The core models are complete, and the focus is shifting toward building on top of that foundation with new content and improvements. More updates will follow as development continues.
