This frame is used to display your lithophanes and was based on the bambu studio tutorial <a target="_blank" href="https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/CMYK-color-lithophane-printing-instructions" rel="nofollow noopener">here</a>. Its a great tutorial but I wanted to improve their frame which I found a bit wobbly. This is my second version with improvements but still fits the lithophanes from version 1. Follow the BL lithophane tutorial except use my frame if you prefer it. The LED panel comes from bambu labs store <a target="_blank" href="https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/bambu-cmyk-backlight-board" rel="nofollow noopener">here</a>. I don't get any commission etc. but if BL wants to change that Ill be more than happy to sell my soul and get paid ;). My frame can be oriented vertically or horizontally. There is a slim and thick version with interchangeable parts.&nbsp;Improvements over version 1version 1 is <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/89383" rel="nofollow noopener">here</a><ul><li>Version 2 has better spacing between the diffuser and the lithophane so light can diffuse properly. Earlier version you could sometimes see square patches where each led bled through the lithophane.</li><li>I added a second thicker base that can stand vertically or horizontally without a separate stand attachment. The 3mf contains both thin and thick versions.</li><li>I added snaps for the cover so it locks in much tighter but still possible to open</li><li>I made it easier to get the lithophane out so easier when swapping</li><li>the 3mf file also includes a very basic sample lithophane with 1 hour print time</li></ul>Printing<ul><li>No supports needed for anything</li><li>Most of the plates are just standard .2mm layer height.<ul><li>The diffuser and the sample lithophane should have no infill</li><li>For the lithophane you can follow the BL tutorial but include my border panel (lithophane_border_white_vertical or lithophane_border_white_horizontal) as the border gives the frame something consistent to hold onto.</li></ul></li><li>There are 2 backs to the frame (regular and slim). All other plates in the 3mf work with either back. Use whatever colors you like!<ul><li>Ive tried glow in the dark, 2 tone, wood, and just basic PLA colors.</li></ul></li></ul>Assembly<ul><li>choose a back (regular or slim). For the thicker back plug in a usbc cord to the led panel and feed it through the hole before inserting the LED panel.</li><li>Insert the led panel from bambu labs store<ul><li>make sure the usbc connector is on the side of the hole in the back</li><li>The side with the usbc is the bottom of the frame</li></ul></li><li>Insert the spacer firmly to hold the led panel in place - it will be tight and the LED panel will not not wiggle after</li><li>insert the diffuser</li><li>insert the lithophane<ul><li>orient it based on where the usbc plug is - the plug should be at the bottom of the frame</li></ul></li><li>if you printed the slim back insert one of the stands in the vertical or horizontal slot</li><li>insert the cover - it will snap on tightly and not wiggle - but can be removed without too much effort</li></ul>&nbsp;

This decorative bowl features a knitted look. It is about the size of a large cereal bowl. It can be used purely for decoration or as a functional holder in your home or office.&nbsp;Print SettingsBecause of the amount of triangles in this model, slicing times will be longer than usual!To reduce print time, I recommend using the standard infill for the first 2mm of the print, then using 0% infill afterwards. Bambulab reached out to me asking if I wanted to make a dragon for them and seeing how I use their printers for prototyping.... it was an easy yes!As with all my designs this model is an easy print-in-place and requires no supports. Again another AI to hueforge piece this time I did a few Star Wars ones uploaded the 3mf so its pre colours however if you dont have a AMS or MMU thats fine its just 4 colour changes. 0.08m profile with standard pla colours are; Black for base, Dark Grey, Lighter Grey and White.&nbsp;For those who dont use bambu studio and want to do it on Cura you will need to do this following for the stl,Black baseChange to dark grey at layer 4Change to Lighter Grey at Layer 12Change to White at Layer 20
