Davinci’s Cryptic Lantern – A Puzzle, A Story, An Experience I’ve always loved puzzles! Jigsaw puzzles, mechanical puzzles, number puzzles, word puzzles, any kind. If there’s something to decode, unlock, twist apart, or understand, I’m in. I eventually ended up with two engineering degrees, which only made things worse (or better), because engineering is really just professional puzzle solving. For about 10 years, I waited to jump into 3D printing. I wanted the technology to mature, become affordable, and reach a point where creativity, not troubleshooting, was the focus. I recently realized that now was the time. But my goal was never just to print things. I want to create things. There is something magical about creating something from nothing. Sometimes I’ll lie awake for hours thinking about puzzles how mechanisms fit together, how discoveries unfold, how physics itself can become part of the challenge. I especially love when physics, puzzles, and art intersect. If a puzzle teaches someone something about how the world works… that’s a win. I also try to live by a simple motto: Contribute more to the world than you take from it. Designing puzzles feels like one small way I can do that. But more than anything, I love designing experiences for people. Davinci’s Cryptic Lantern was created for the Old World Magic Contest. It’s a lantern puzzle box inspired by mystery, invention, and a bit of Renaissance magic. Its my first major model that has been a labor of love over the last week. My hope is that it sparks Inspiration, wonder, and curiosity. If it makes someone smile, think, or start dreaming up puzzles of their own, then thats a win in my book! #Contests #Hostedbycreator #Printoldworldmagic(Edited)

We made a hexagonal wall sign to display and remind our kids of our family values. There are plenty of other applications for the modular hex sign. Could be a great gift to give to grandparents with each hex containing the name of a grandchild.
