This 3D model of the MAV from The Martian holds a special place in my heart—it was my first real design. Created for a school project in 2016, I poured my passion into modifying the nozzle, adding windows, and including an internal chair inspired by Mark Watney’s struggle. This project marked the beginning of my journey into 3D design, and the process of bringing it to life through printing reminded me of the power of creativity and perseverance. It’s a piece of me.
