<h2>BLV - AMS Riser for X1C V3.1 Final</h2><figure class="table"><table><tbody><tr><td style="background-color: hsl(0, 0%, 30%)"><h3><span style="color: hsl(0,0%,100%)">Introduction</span></h3></td></tr><tr><td><p>I&#39;m Ben Levi, and I want to talk to you about this BLV AMS Riser that I designed:<br>So, when the AMS is sitting on top of the printer, you can&#39;t really see what the printer is doing, and you can&#39;t even open the top glass cover to let some air in when you&#39;re printing High temp stuff. basically, something that will hold the AMS and free your Glass top cover will be a good solution for that. Now I&#39;ve seen some similar AMS risers before, but none of them really wowed me.. i think..</p><p>That&#39;s why I decided to come up with this sleek BLV AMS Riser design, easy to use, easy to put together, and reliable. I even added two handy drawers for your tools and stuff, a special shelf that can hold up to 4pcs Build Plates, built-in Dual LED strips. Sure, it took me a while, but I got it (almost..) done.</p><p>As some of you may know, I love contributing to this wonderful community, which is why I chose to share with you my project without any fee or money. Among other things, I&#39;ve also given you access to the original CAD files (F3D,STEP) so that you can easily make changes, add, and improve as you see fit. <p>I designed this two new <span style="background-color:hsl(60,75%,60%);">“</span><span style="background-color:hsl(60,75%,60%);color:hsl(0,0%,0%);"><strong>Banana</strong></span><span style="background-color:hsl(60,75%,60%);"> <strong>Filament Clip</strong>”</span> and <span style="background-color:hsl(90,75%,60%);">“</span><span style="background-color:hsl(90,75%,60%);color:hsl(0,0%,0%);"><strong>Cucumber Filament Clip</strong></span><span style="background-color:hsl(90,75%,60%);">”</span> because I have never liked locking the filament on the spool by bending it inside the holes and the various clips to be placed on the edge must be always removed before placing the spool in the AMS.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I have published various solutions for fixing the filament on the <strong>internal side</strong> of the <strong>Bambu Lab spool</strong>, but when you have a new spool there was no place to place them.</p><p><strong>This versions can always be used</strong>, it locks on the holes where the filament was originally inserted and there is no need to remove the clip when the spool is in the AMS because it does not prevent the spool rotation and does not interfere with the filament when unrolling.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The only thing to keep in mind is that the yellow <span style="background-color:hsl(60,75%,60%);"><u>&#34;Banana&#34;</u></span><u> clip can only be used on the right side of the pool</u> (otherwise during rotation it will touch the left guides inside the AMS), while the green <span style="background-color:hsl(90,75%,60%);"><u>&#34;Cucumber&#34;</u></span><u> clip can be mounted on both sides</u>, because it is thinner. On the other hand, &#34;Banana&#34; you will always print without any problem, while &#34;Cucumber&#34;, which has a smaller contact surface with the printing bed, needs a little brim. However, I recommend also mounting clip on the right side, I don&#39;t think it will make much difference for you and your AMS will thank you!<br><br>Since many of you have not perfectly calibrated the flow-rate (and not just the linear-advance), in my print profiles you will find two/three different slot diameters, so you can use the best for you.<br><br>What if you have a <strong>Hatchbox</strong> spool? No problem, there is also the specific profile!<br> </p><p><span style="background-color:hsl(0,75%,60%);color:hsl(0,0%,100%);font-size:16px;"><strong>Warning:</strong></span><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255);color:rgb(42,42,42);font-size:16px;"> before before downloading and printing <strong>SPAM profiles</strong>, please check that when ★ 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 is written it is really faster <u>and not 30% slower at printing</u>. Also make sure it was actually printed by author and that the photo used is not only a copy of the print from the original profile!</span></p>
