Agreed with what others have said - the faceplate fits and it does a great job of blocking light. but you can’t fold the arms, which means I won’t carry the glasses with this installed and as such am not likely to carry the faceplate at all. if you could make slight indentations in the light shields that allow the arms to fold, it would be perfect!

The tolerances are a touch too tight around the screen with the inner frame installed. I’d also love to see a version with a clip-on stand (with like a keyhole or fidlock style groove) as opposed to magnets, but the screen fits as does a battery and it seems to work well!

really really good design and study as heck. the domed caps under the joysticks seem to drag on the case though, and it makes handling imprecise. I’ve tried sanding them lightly to make sure there aren’t any burrs, etc but it didn’t help much.

great Aston logo, it’s what I used for my car!

excellent print and incredible fit and finish. I notice one of my wheels has way better traction than the other, it seems fine when I take the wheels off the ground but when it’s sitting on them, one spins with a lot of torque and the other seems to drag. they both spin freely by hand as well, any idea what I could look at?

it’s a layer of plastic! actually it’s great. mine was perfect on the first try, it helped clean the plate, and when I took it off I cut it into sections and used them to mix epoxy

SO worth all the poop. I made 3 on the same plate because why not at that point. a very long print but made my Time Machine way better.

awesome model. great quality. I made some tweaks to make it more realistic, as I have a pretty accurate reference point. I recolored the side markers to be amber and red, I printed the headlights in transparent PLA, changed the front logo to be the same material as the body, printed the flux bands in blue glow in the dark PLA, inverted the steering wheel/ironed the center/printed it in black, and some other things. the instructions were well made but lacked detail and the order of operations was a little weird. I broke a TON of parts before giving up on the instructions and doing it in a way that minimized risk of breakage. also make sure you dry fit anything with screws and run a drill through the holes first to ensure they are sized properly and not obstructed.

solid and accurate print! would add that missing star if the button pusher for the reset switch was recessed below the plane of the front panel. it’s way too easy to hit it by accident as it is now

The print is perfect, but I really wish it was oriented 90 degrees differently. The reason is that the section of the top body that it snaps in to (as well as the front top body section) are oriented with their top surface down on the build plate. Printing those and this as configured leads to two different textures, especially if you're using the textured build plate. Even with smooth plates, you'll see the difference. I decided to print a replacement for a perfectly good part to even out the texture. Otherwise, great!

Did this in matte white and neon orange to go with the turquoise body. I set it to iron the top surfaces and it came out gorgeous - looks injection molded

Sturdy and well designed.

Nice case but the lid is a little loose - some detents would help it hold more tightly, otherwise it gets the job done

I’ve printed so many models of your stands I bought the nuts and bolts in bulk just to have around. I wish you had one for the Yaesu FT-60 and Baofeng UV-PRO so they’d all match on my workbench! thanks for making all these
