The Elgato telescopic arm is overkill when you just need a fixed position. This adapter swaps it for something more compact. The 1/4"-20 thread means you can also extend existing tripods and light stands with Elgato accessories - way more versatile than expected. I printed mine in PLA for a light accessory. Works great. Use PETG/ABS if mounting heavier gear like cameras.
