Bambu tungsten drill bits are excellent, especially for precise 2–3 mm hole calibration, but matching sizes are hard to find in DIY stores. The original aluminium handle is great but often sold out, so I made a printable alternative. It’s close in size, slightly reinforced for printing, and works well for precision tasks while you wait for the original.

This shelf was designed for people who want their Bambu printer to live in a clean, curated office or studio – not in a workshop. It’s meant to be a display object first and furniture second. Similar to how a Bang & Olufsen radio or a bonsai tree becomes a visual centerpiece, the idea is to make the printer a deliberate part of the interior. This is intentionally not a storage solution, theres no space for dual AMS, tools, or spare filament rolls. All of that belongs in a storage room.

This is a Bamboo Shelf for Bambu Printers (P1,X1,P2) that I designed and built for my office where I don’t have a dedicated workspace, so the goal was something that looks clean and fits well into a living space, not a workshop. The printed parts use ~1.5 kg of filament. The printed connectors go together with IKEA bamboo components: two bamboo side plates (€35 each) and three bamboo legs (€20 each). Before I spend time preparing files and documentation for MakerWorld, I’d like to know if this is something others would realistically build. Would you consider printing and assembling something like this, or is it too material-heavy or parts cost too much? I would appreciate feedback from the community. Thank you
