I am an old nerd who grew up in the 1980s with a passion for RC model cars. My first RC car was a Tamiya Sand Scorcher. In Italy we were starting to do dirt racing in 1982. In Milan we were among the first to organize a championship (we even appeared for a few years in the official Tamiya catalog!!!). I raced with Tamiya, Kyosho, Team Losi and Team Associated in the heyday of the electric 1/10 off road category. After many years of struggling to find parts and needing to make modifications, we were finally able, thanks to 3D printing, to design and print our own parts. A great revolution!
