The 2&#34; Mini Hitch!&nbsp;Do you have a vehicle with an empty hitch receiver?Does your friend have a large truck and you want to make fun of them for never towing anything?Want to make the guy driving behind you chuckle a little bit?Well do i have the perfect print for you!&nbsp;The 2&#34; mini Hitch! It&#39;s a hilariously small version of a trailer hitch. Throw this on your truck and you&#39;re guaranteed to make a few people laugh!&nbsp; *See below for updates* The 2&#34; Mini Hitch was designed for the “standard” 2&#34; hitch receiver with a hitch face to center of hitch pin hole length of 2.5&#34; and to sit flush with the face of the receiver. I&#39;ve come to learn that this so called “standard” is not really standard! It is the most common measurment, but not all 2&#34; receivers use this length for some odd reason. I encourage you to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the face of your hitch receiver to ensure this Mini Hitch will fit as intended. If you find that you need a different length, don&#39;t hesitate to comment or reach out to me with the measurement that you need. I will make the proper one for you as soon as possible. I will also be performing measurements myself out in the wild and creating Mini Hitches with different lengths as I find different measurements.&nbsp;I would encourage you to print this in PETG or any other filament that can handle extended outdoor use in hot or cold environments.&nbsp;For those of you who will be utilizing the STL:&nbsp;Once uploaded into the slicer, right click on the Mini Hitch and click split into objects. Then right click on the large hitch block and add a support blocker cube to the square opening at the bottom. Supports are not needed here as your printer should be able to bridge the gap fairly easily. Splitting the STL into seperate objects also allows the slicer to generate a brim for the hitch ball alone.&nbsp;Use auto normal supports on build plate only. The only part that requires supports is the hitch ball mount. The slicer should recognize this when “on build plate only” is selected.&nbsp;I suggest 4 walls and 10% cross hatch infill.&nbsp;Deselect “reduce infill retraction” in the others tab of the slicer settings if you run into infill scraping on travels. With this setting turned on, your printer will not retract during travels through the infill. When your printer doesn&#39;t retract during travels within the infill, it also does not perform a Z hop during its travel. This can lead to the nozzle scraping the infill, so make sure this setting is disabled.&nbsp;All parts are scaled appropriatly to allow easy assembly. Check fitment before assembling with glue.&nbsp;As always, ensure your filament is dry &amp; calibrated and your build plate is clean. &nbsp;Shoutout to duoderf1 on Reddit for the R&amp;D assistance on the 1-¼” mini hitch!&nbsp;UPDATES:  - Hitch pin and cotter pin now available. -  Dual plate profile uploaded to allow for a separate color to be used for the ball and nut. &nbsp;  - When installing the cotter pin into the hitch pin, ensure that the two pieces mate properly as seen in the picture below. I made it with multiple hitch pin holes to accommodate multiple different hitch pin hole to hitch face measurments. The Original 2&#34; Mini Hitch v6 Profile is still available and only has one hitch pin hole with a depth of 2.5&#34;.
