The Haramain High-Speed Railway 2026 is the fastest and most comfortable way to travel between Mecca and Medina. This high-speed train transforms a journey that used to take 4 to 6 hours by road into a comfortable, air-conditioned trip of no more than 2 hours and 20 minutes, giving pilgrims and visitors more time for worship and rest. The Haramain High-Speed Railway extends over a 449 km route and reaches a speed of 300 km/h. It is one of the most prominent projects of Vision 2030, which aims to develop infrastructure and facilitate the safe and sustainable movement of millions of visitors between the two holy mosques. It is operated by the Saudi Railway Company (SAR) and connects Mecca and Medina, passing through Jeddah and the airport
