I used mesh tools in Fusion 360 to scale up shelf to 6". Added offset plane and fit curves to mesh section feature to edit sketch and extrude solid shelf, which then needs to tesselate to mesh and combine with original model. Then directly edited mesh to simplify faces a bit.
