I designed this project for my own setup, as I keep my 3D printer inside a closet and wanted an easy way to store loose filament, without spools. I often buy filament as coils or store it in vacuum bags, so regular spool hangers are not practical for me. This simple hanger lets you hang loose filament directly on a closet rod, keeping it organized and preventing tangling. I printed it with PETG, but PLA also works very well.

For extra durability, it’s recommended to add a small drop of glue to the sign’s axle.
