#2024 Annual Summary I am a 65 year old grandmother of 17. I got my first Bambu Labs A1 printer in 2024. To say the least I suffered with a lot of trepidation and nervousness. In my head I was so worried about the technical side of the machine. Then there was the software. I was totally a beginner when it comes to the lingo of a 3d printer and to me a slicer was a kitchen gadget used to slice cheese.
What I can tell anyone who is scared to the technology and the learning curve for the software don't be. I am utterly in awe of how easy it was to set up and use my A1 printer. Straight out of the box it was a dream to set up. My first print of course was the suggested benchy and then I did some adapeters for the AMS. It has made me want to learn more about the modelling and 3d printing world. They say when you get older you need to keep the brain active well instead of the time wasting phone games I now spend my time reading, watching and printing with the goal to make gifts for my grandchildren. What I will tell the older generation don't be worried about jumping in feet first and buy yourself a Bambu printer, it will be the best decision of 2025.
