Self-reflection on printing edged weapons / bladed weapons. - Not recommended to print the blade vertically - most models have the blade split into parts, all standing up vertically on the build plate. My recommendation: - Split the part in half, print both flat on the bed horizontally. - Glue together to achieve identical looking part. Takes: - LOOKS It looks about 10-20% worse in quality, but doesn't matter at all - if the pieces are getting sanded and painted. - SPEED Prints 30-50% faster. Much less likely to unstick of the bed, which happens if printing tall vertical piece. - DURABILITY 200-300% more durable, by my testing, horizontal split print can withstand some hits - where vertical print snaps on small impacts. All modifications can be simply done using Bambu software. If you need help, feel free to send me a message.(Edited)
