However, I noticed that the moisture in the dryboxes goes up significantly faster when I do this, since the gasket does not create an airtight seal around the PTFE tube and leaves holes open. I solved this by creating a simple ring that slides into your PTFE tube and plugs the holes, creating an airtight seal.
