Living in Turkey, I quickly discovered that jumping spider keeping isn't a common hobby here yet. After falling in love with these amazing little creatures, I hit my first major obstacle—I couldn't find a proper enclosure anywhere locally. Online options were either unavailable or way too expensive for shipping to Turkey. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and design my own 3D printed enclosure.

I’ve tried many different Skadis board connectors on the market, but none quite met my expectations—some broke easily, others didn’t fit properly, and most lost their tension over time, causing the boards to separate and look messy. So, I decided to design my own! This connector securely joins two IKEA Skadis boards using two M3 (12mm) screws, allowing for both horizontal and vertical connections. It’s sturdy, reliable, and keeps everything looking clean with a minimalist, industrial touch.
