I printed this twice and found that one of the hinges was welded closed. the first attempt to break it free resulted in the part failing all together. the second attempt was approached from a different angle and the hinge was successfully freed. a fun toy

Printed well on A1 with PLA Matte

tolerance for plate hold too tight considering the magnets. worried repeated use will pull the mount from the wall.

Great print in PETG, very useful. Clockwise filament transfer only. It would be helpful to a first time user if arrows were etched into the base to help give orientation to the direction the spools should be spinning. I started my first transfer winding in the wrong direction and the spool holders kept spinning off.

most of all I like the sound it makes when it opens, this might just as well be repurposed as a musical instrument. what what do we call the rasping sound made when scratching a finely printed 3D printed surface? should we call it a "ziff"? This piece has a nice resonate ziff.

very good. the brace is not very strong at all and should not be considered for an sort of load but it does a great job of squaring.
