Works fantastic! Has an "inside the spool" filament clip which I wanted to keep from my existing spool so they can still stack.
Here it is next to the spool it replace, which is already as "smaller" spool.
I'm currently printing a version that has a 1.8mm hole through the notch and center so you can wind non-refills on to these, will post results.

Goes on tight and helps keep the build plate clean. Also helps getting the plate out from storage

Printed great on my A1 mini. Will probably add some rubber feet as the surface they sit on is quite smooth and the printer can vibrate them off the shelf while printing, but other than that. Fantastic print.

Sometimes my A1 mini would poop high above the bed and miss my bucket, this solves that issue without all the noisy vibration that the attached poop buckets cause

Don't know if I have an older A1 mini as I bought it refurbished, but it does fit quite snug, but as intended.

Printed in PLA, Worked exactly as described. Love the idea of fastening washers and handles with 1.75mm filament.

Fantastic. Got a little rubbing on the leg that connects to the reciever, but I used it before lubricating as instructed. Not sure I would have seen an issue if I had followed the instructions.

Prints Great. Looks Great. -1 cause it shakes like a loud maraca when the printer runs a quick vibration check before each print.

Came out great!
I changed the layer height to 0.1mm, not how much it mattered. Picture is on an a1 mini with no ams, paused at layer 20/29 to change filament.

Absolutely love this modification. The piece fit perfectly and installed easily.

For me this literally worked *too well*. I use refillable spools I printed on my a1 mini, so they are just barely big enough to hold a 1kg refill. Once I installed this low friction bearing, the spool overspun when filament was fed and loops started flying off the spool.
I don't think this would happen with bigger spools and ultimately isn't the models fault.
Easy assembly, and works exactly as advertised.
