We found this design (or a remix of it) when sorting out a costume and gave it a bit of a polish up by adding removable/changeable eyes, a strap hole for wearing it and did my best to smooth out the wings.&nbsp;For a little extra bling print the white parts in glow in the dark filament to stand out in the dark or under blacklights!&nbsp;The head prints separately and doesn't need supports. Starting with a tileable base plate, you can print out an array of building from a wide variety to choose from to begin piecing together your very own miniature metropolis. 1/2/2024 UPDATE: I have incorporated several minor design improvements to the parts to improve clearances, ease of printing, and ease of assembly. Parts require fewer supports as well. These updates are included in the Jet Engine Model for Kit-006 print profile. This is the latest and greatest profile, so I highly recommend using this from now on. The parts from the previous release, now renamed (OLD) Jet Engine Model for Kit-006, are still compatible with these new parts, however, so you don’t have to reprint the whole thing if you don’t want to.&nbsp;Overview:A cutaway model of a 2-spool high bypass turbofan. I designed the whole engine from scratch with cues to certain existing engines. For example, I think Rolls-Royce makes the best-looking fans, so there&#39;s some resemblance there... Since originally uploading to Thingiverse in 2016, the popularity of this model has grown far beyond expectations. The model has appeared in numerous publications, additive manufacturing expos/conferences, and is (for better or worse) being made and sold by a number of 3rd parties. However, rest assured that this is one of the official sources for this model. A bunch of remixes of this engine are out there, mostly in Thingiverse at the moment, if you are so inclined. I&#39;ve also designed an <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/models/158422" rel="nofollow noopener">alternate fan for this engine</a> that more closely resembles GE and P&amp;W engines. The cable chain that comes with the P1/X1 has only one of these PTFE chain clips to control the PTFE feed tube. Adding two or three of these to the chain keeps the PTFE tube controlled and out of the way of the glass top or side wall of the chamber. Simple to print and install.&nbsp;Note:<ul><li>Install in the open area of the chain link, top of the clip first, and then the bottom clip. Install the PTFE tube once the clip has been installed on the chain.</li><li>Use the filament that meets the demands of your chamber temperatures. </li><li>Do not install these close to the print head!
