Bio
mechanical engineer by trade. tons of design experience but currently working as a project engineer.
first experience with a 3d printer was at my first job. we invested in a 5th gen makerbot which, by todays standards, is horrible. but at the time it was amazing!
My first personal 3d printer was an ender 3 DIY printer which was a great intro printer (thanks for the birthday gift Alex). Then transitioned to an ankermake m5, which was a huge upgrade but VOCs were a major issue. Finally some colleagues convinced me Bambu was the way to go and I invested in a P1S
