I loved the concept behind <a target="_blank" href="https://www.printables.com/social/11728-lukes-3d/about" rel="nofollow noopener">Luke's 3D's</a> original model but it didn't fit my daughter's toothpaste. I also found the model quite hard to assemble as the tolerances were tight and there was little to no horizontal expansion (elephant's foot) compensation built in.So while I was lengthening the model I decided to make the following improvements:<ul><li>Increased shaft and body length by 10mm</li><li>Increased tube slot width on the shaft and body slightly</li><li>Added chamfer to all surfaces that touch the build plate to compensate for horizontal expansion</li><li>Added a bump on the shaft to prevent the tip from coming out while removing the tube</li><li>Stiffened up the ratchet arms</li><li>Improved aesthetics (subjective :))</li><li>Less post processing is required for assembly</li></ul>Warning: If you print a third party profile you may not be getting the latest version or the highest quality print. &nbsp;If you like this project, please don't forget to ❤ Like and ★ Rate! <h4>Printing tips</h4>I've been printing the bodies in PLA and the handle, ratchet, and shaft in PETG.<ul><li>0.4mm nozzle</li><li>0.2mm layer height</li><li>Support is not required</li><li>Print as shown in the attached screenshot (widest flat faces touching build plate)</li></ul>

I&#39;ve tried other similar cable management designs but encountered two issues:<ol><li>The cable openings were too large (about 5.8mm) for MFI/Type C cables.</li><li>The cable connector (head) wiggled a lot due to the shallow pocket.</li></ol>In my design, I maintained the same dimensions (approximately 10cmx2cmx1.5cm), but I narrowed the opening to 3.5mm and deepened the pocket for better stability of the cable connector.  The wall attached to the table is on the slim end, but I don’t see this as a problem. Still, I thought it was worth mentioning. I’LL UPDATE THE DESIGN FILES BASED ON YOUR FEEDBACK. As you can probably tell, my goal here was to bring some more humanlike proportions to the figure, while also improving the way everything fits together.&nbsp;My hope is that this will be an easier print than the original Lucky 13, though still a step up from Mini and Easy.&nbsp;<h3>Printing</h3>As with the original, Dummy 13 is made up of an inner "frame" with a layer of “armor” over top. You can use the material of your choice for the armor, but you should print the frame with a strong and sturdy material like ABS, ASA, or PETG. I mostly use ASA.&nbsp;PLA is not recommended for the frame. If you print the frame in PLA and complain that it broke or went floppy, I'm going to be like, “yeah dude, I told you not to.”&nbsp;All parts print without supports and you should not need to reorient anything. Bed adhesion is the toughest part of this print. For better adhesion try slowing down your first layer, printing external perimeters first, and adding a brim if needed. Use 0.15mm layers (0.2mm first layer).&nbsp;You can use the included 3MF files with pre-plated parts, or arrange the individual parts yourself. If a part starts with “2x” or “4x,” print that many copies.
