I ordered a refurbished Nest Outdoor Cam (Wired) Gen 1, and it didn't come with a mount. I found a third-party mount on Amazon, but didn't like the mounting options. Google does not sell OEM magnetic mounts, and eBay wants $40-$50! I made about 12 iterations to perfect the chamfer radius, stop block depth, and screw mount points. I had tried one design with fuzzy skin where the camera meets the mount, but it didn't help "hold" the camera in place like I thought it would.

This model aims to fix the terrible design decision of having the ethernet port for TP-Link access points on the side of the device. I initially tried to follow the design contours of the AP, but the hole in the ceiling kept showing, so I added a noticeable bump to mask it. There is no clip in my design, as the ceiling is angled. It should work fine on an AP mounted to a flat ceiling as well. It may slide off if the whole is on the downslope side of an angled ceiling.
