While building my Axisflying Manta X10 Lite long-range cinematic drone with the DJI O4 Pro, I needed a clean and secure way to mount the Foxeer M10Q 250 GPS module. The frame doesn’t have a dedicated GPS mounting point, and I wanted something lightweight, vibration-resistant, and positioned for the best possible satellite reception without interfering with the camera or other components.

After building my Axisflying Manta X10 Lite long-range cinematic drone, I wanted proper landing gear that would give good ground clearance for the DJI O4 Pro camera while keeping the overall weight as low as possible. Stock options were either too low, too heavy, or didn’t fit the frame’s mounting points cleanly.
So I designed these custom landing legs specifically for the Manta X10 Lite. After several iterations and test prints, I got the height, strength, and mounting perfect.

After my last DJI Neo 2 crash, one of the transmitter antennas broke.
Smart move… after the damage is done 😅
So I downloaded an STL protector from MakerWorld and printed a case for the transmitter.
Unfortunately my homemade acrobatics led to more crashes. The printed case wasn’t doing its job because it kept falling off.
That’s why I decided to design my own version and after a huge number of attempts (many, many, many…),
I finally succeeded!

As a drone and 3D printing enthusiast, I noticed that the available DJI Neo 2 legs are heavy and not very resistant to uneven landings. Inspired by aerospace structures, I designed lightweight (5g/set) honeycomb legs in FreeCAD, reducing weight by 60% while maintaining strength. Tests confirmed stability – I'm sharing to support the enthusiast community!
