this is my first attempt at making a 3D print. i replaced a broken lamp socket shell, but the replacement was too big to fit our lamp shade. so i just made this adapter for it. i printed it in PLA because that is all i have right now but it is probably a good idea to print it in something that handles the heat better. however, i did leave an LED lamp turned on over night and it didnt seem to warm up the part at all.
