Excelente diseño. Me gustaron mucho los taburetes a pesar del tamaño tan pequeño; se ven resistentes, aunque el asiento puede fallar bajo una carga excesiva que venza las patas en V. Tuve que retrabajar algunos agujeros para que pasara el filamento, pero fue sencillo. El mayor problema fueron los residuos de capa delgada de los soportes que se quedaron pegados a la placa; porque son muy difíciles de quitar.

I had printed with PLA before and didn’t have issues, but I switched to PETG, instead. It wasn’t easy to print a flawless box, because there was at least an error with each print: thin layers were too brittle, firmware updates caused printing flaws, the lid flanges didn’t fit into the slits, or the profile gave a poor surface quality. So I tried to solve each problem: I reduced the hotbed temperature, didn’t upgrade prior to printing, used electrical tape, and swapped between profiles. Each box took up to eight hours to complete, but I finally got my Christmas gift boxes! I modified the G-code to print the AMS plates by switching colors manually, but I discovered that using AMS wastes twice the material on every change than a No AMS print, and it prints all colors using the first filament’s settings, instead of updating according to each filament setting. Moreover, it doesn’t clean the nozzle. The surface quality was rather random and I couldn’t fix it.

I just checked mine is 10 mm.

If you find it hard to get the toothpaste past the slit, push a corner through, instead. Small pieces might be difficult to unstick from the hotbed, thus be careful; I accidentally cut my finger with the scraper, while holding the hotbed. I’m three weeks into recovery.

En realidad, es muy bueno; pero se desprende muy fácil del soporte superior. Eso se puede arreglar ampliando las estrías en la base.

Aunque el carrete se atora un poco al entrar, tiene holgura en la base para girar sin fricción; debido a la cuña que abre las paredes de la agarradera del recipiente desde adentro. Resulta difícil de alinear, pero funciona. Es el primer diseño de varios que pruebo que cumple lo que promete. Se puede mejorar, pero ya es un excelente aporte. Ahora lo único que tengo que adaptar es el soporte para el higrómetro y el eje con rodamientos 608zz (D22, d8, B7 mm).

No se puede quitar el soporte en PETG.

Le agregué un par de cinchos de 46.5 x 42.5 x 5 mm y 1.5 mm de grosor para asegurar las tapas. Y les pegué unas bonitas etiquetas hechas a mano. 👌🏼
