The ability to print this one w/o supports made the the obvious choice for my wall. I did crop the back ground panel to improve overall look

#2024 Annual Summary
I have been 3D printing for about 6 years now. I use my printer mostly for functional parts around the house, or for my RV/Motorhomes. I started out with a MonoPrice Maker Select V2, which worked exceptionally well, and was fast at the time. It's quite a bit bigger than my A1 mini, very hobbyist built, and very locked down. It became a full time job to keep it running, and I almost gave up on 3D printing until I was gifted a Create CR10 V3, which is huge. Along with the printer, my wife gifted me the Sonic Pad, and through that, not only was I back to 3D printing, I breathed new life into my MP printer by flashing the system with Klipper firmware, and I had a mini print farm going. The problems of the thumbscrew leveling still existed, and the woes of using now two hobbyist grade printers was challenging. So last year, I decided to buy the A1 mini with AMS when it first went on sale. I fell in love with the simplicity of it. Fast forward 4 months later, and I purchased an A1 mini with AMS for my grandson, and an A1 for me.Today, I operate the A1 and A1 mini about 50% of the time.. I am not printing full-time, but I print a lot. Printing has never been so painless. As a professional programmer who has been in the technology field for over 30 years of my life, I don't want to tinker with making things work anymore. I just want my stuff to work. With the A1 and A1 mini I get just that. Nothing is as refined as the A1 mini, which looks like it belongs in a doctor's office, or science lab. I learned to program CNC equipment in the 80s when I was in high school (thank you Mr Doerr from Corona Sr. High for making this possible). Until 3D printing, I knew the language but never had an opportunity to really use my skills. Now I get to design, slice, and edit my own G-Code in ways that were not even possible back in the 80s.As I write this, my A1 is busy printing a desktop storage system for my home office desk, and my A1 mini is fast at working printing some additional printer enhancements for my A1.When I do have to open a ticket with support, the staff is always responsive and helpful. With my older two printers, I was on my own. As long as Bambu makes products that I fit my need, I have no plans of switching brands. What could be better than having printers that work reliably, last a long time, remind us when to do maintenance (and what maintenance to do), and never need us to print calibration towers -- if the NFC feature of the AMS with Bambu filament not the absolute easiest solution?
Love the community, the free models, and of course the printer.

If you have an Infinity Cube, I have just published a great stand to display the infinity cube using Wood PLA, simulated wood grain, and simulated wood joints.
