I got a nice used stereo microscope (Bausch & Lomb ASZ - Academic StereoZoom) that had no eye cups and I was getting glare on my images. I tried adapting some eyepieces designed by others but nothing really worked well. So I designed my own. I ended up with a nice overall design that flares up at the ends to block out a lot of light.
