My Annual Report

Thought I'd share this little magnetic screw/part tray which was a quick design in Solid Edge out of necessity as I needed somewhere to keep small screws and things when working on my 3D printers. Made for 1.7mm deep x 6.0mm dia. magnets loose fit so need super glue to fix in place.

I was looking for a solution for my Etsy shop wrapping station. We had a 300ft roll of paper that was difficult to manage, having already used ⅓ of it I decided to look for a solution, something that I could screw to my preparation surface and quickly swap out when needed. I already had a 20mm dia steel curtain poll (actual 19.5 dia) so thought I might find something available on maker world. After much searching I thought I would be better off designing from scratch.

Just a simple towel hanger with screw covers for a more asthetic look. I printed this with 3-4 wall thickness and its come out really strong both times. My first one has been in use for years and showing now signs of stress, cracks etc. I would definatley print another when/if this one fails.
