Printed the profile for three-chambered AMS, using BL PETG HF, on an H2D.
The IDEA of stabilizing the AMS on “stilts” by hooking onto the “slots” = five stars.
The PROFILE printed perfectly, with good fit and finish and surviving a hair-raising standing-on-the-side print of the walls without brims, on a wobbling H2D.
The DOCUMENTATION needs work: My AMS 2 Pro has three chambers, looks like the picture shown, but did not fit my AMS 2 Pro as printed. I had to use a Dremel to modify one tooth and make the walls fit the base of the AMS. (See pictures).
The problem is not that serious. Cutting a corner of one “tooth” and filling the exposed infill with epoxy is simple and preserves its strength. I used PETG, so perhaps not even that was needed. NBD for me at least.
The fault is all mine:
1. I SHOULD have printed the test piece to save me the print.
2. I SHOULD have read the docs literally: it doesn’t actually say that this model works with the AMS 2 Pro.
