it does exactly as described but a nice improvement would be recessed screws and caps

Almost perfect , just thinking a cable grove / guide might be a nice refinement. Think also it might be a good place to mount a light and or camera

I had to trim a little bit off from the part that inserts into the slot as it was too wide the outer bit was actually too short. ( Ref a MacBook Pro SD slot )

Prints really nicely . I thought the two pieces shown were very tight but after force sliding a few times they slide perfectly . Nice job and a good start to a device I’m just starting to design.
