A spring from a BIC pen cut in half worked great for the takedown lever lock. Overall a very well made design! Would have given it a four star rating, but Maker World does not recognize that I printed it.
Other Issues:The controller sits a little loose, I had to put thick tape on the inside for the control to not lose sight in inside VR games. Printed well, but I reoriented it for better support and faster printing.

Printed well and the kids love them! I printed the hinges in PETG and the rest in PLA. I then painted the edges of the outside with Posca markers. For a five star I would have liked a little easier assembly. The screws were almost impossible to get in, they were so tight I destroyed the heads of several of them despite having the correct bits.

I use this for several virtual shooting softwares training for IPSC competition. It works extremely well! The fit for Quest 2 is not 100% though, I had to put som thick tape on the rear of the slide to push the controller down firmly into the grip. It works reasonably well with my new Quest 3, but I will look for dedicated grips that hold the smaller controller better. Printed in generic PLA.
