This pop-up catapult prints in place, the only extra part needed is a rubber band. Though even if you don't have a rubber band, you can still launch manually!&nbsp;Note: Before printing you may want to test your printer's tolerance for print in place hinges. To do that, you can use my <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/388977#profileId-289900" rel="nofollow noopener">Print in Place Tolerance Test</a> model. By default, the catapults have 0.2mm of tolerance between separate parts.&nbsp;You can print this in PLA or PETG.&nbsp;When printing via the 3mf file, you should import it into Bambu Studio as a single object having multiple parts. Decorate your home with this planter model designed to look like a giant mushroom. It can be used indoors when printed with PLA. If intended for outdoor use I recommend ABS or ASA.&nbsp;Included in the file is a little snail friend that can call the mushroom its home! (The snail was not modeled by me, but is a remix of <a target="_blank" href="https://www.printables.com/en/model/66108-pyrite-snail" rel="nofollow noopener">this model</a> and a random snail shell STL I downloaded, but have forgotten where I found it.)

Based on my improved “jump catcher”, there is now a track extension with a paddle-wheel as an Addon, which btw - from my point of view - shouldn&#39;t violate the license terms of the original Marble Run 003 model <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/14265" rel="nofollow noopener">https://makerworld.com/en/models/14265</a> .&nbsp;This track is clearly a shortcut and the marbles that take this route overtake all the other marbles. That&#39;s why I&#39;ve drawn it so that not many marbles go that way. Also, the lower part of the track is slightly uphill and then has only a slight slope in order to reduce the rolling speed. On the other hand this can cause the marbles to get stuck, depending on the print quality or the uneven surface. If this is the case, you just have to warm up the lane (serpentine) with a hairdryer and bend the curve down a little.I would be grateful if you share with me your suggestions and experiences.&nbsp;Notes:<ul><li>This addon contains small parts. This prints three layers of colour so the colours turn out nice and saturated and minimize waste. After the colour, there&#39;s one solid black layer, three layers of infill, and four final solid layers for the back for strength with the back pattern set to Hilbert Curve for a nice texture. There is a small hole in each model which is just large enough to fit a 1mm keychain jump ring. If you find it too small, you can modify the size of the “Keychain hole” object in BambuStudio to make it a little larger, or take a small drill bit and drill the final keychain to make it a little bigger!&nbsp;I purchased my <a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07DC9YZXV/" rel="nofollow noopener">keychain set from Amazon</a> if you&#39;d like to get something similar!&nbsp;<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000172935/design/2024-01-15_ed5d31eadc8b3.png">All models have been flipped face down on the print bed so the surface texture from the PEI plate gives them a nice textured surface! All the different pieces of the models are there if you want to play around with it. There is one black ‘back’ piece in each keychain, which is perfectly aligned to the rest of the model. This causes some flickering in the viewport when moving around, but it disappears after slicing. If you modify the settings of that piece, it will affect the infill settings, so if you want to save a little filament, feel free to adjust it there!<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000172935/design/2024-01-15_2f3f64f70a6df.gif"></figure>I made some changes to the first layer and first layer infill speeds, reducing them both by about half. This increases the print time for the first layer, but increases the bed adhesion and print quality a bit. If you find that the first layer is printing too slow for your liking, feel free to reset them both back to default settings in the speed tab.<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000172935/design/2024-01-15_c5fc221922c1c.webp"></figure>If you want some extra crisp pixels, you can try printing these with the 0.2mm nozzle, but I didn&#39;t think the increased print time was really worth the extra quality. It&#39;s definitely noticeable, but I didn&#39;t think the tradeoff was there. Feel free to experiment and try it yourself!&nbsp;<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000172935/design/2024-01-15_366891a0ec5ab.png">Want to remove the keychain hole? No problem! Each keychain has a “Keychain hole” object on each plate. Just select it, delete it, and re-slice!<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000172935/design/2024-01-15_d454162579477.gif"></figure>Want to scale these up really large to make some wall art? Just delete the “Keychain hole” object, then scale the X and Y axis to fit your print bed.
