My journey into the world of technology began in the 1970s. The decade, characterized by mechanical toys and the first PCs – a time when one still wanted to understand things by taking them apart. After finishing school, I laid the foundation for my technical understanding with an apprenticeship in a trade. Here I learned that theory is only as valuable as it proves itself in practice, followed by the academic path: a double focus in mechanical and electrical engineering.
