Meet my new Realistic Articulated Iguana! 🦎 This model was designed with a detailed reptile texture, expressive eyes, a long tail, and smooth articulated movement. I wanted it to feel realistic, but still fun to print, pose, and display. The multicolor version really brings out the scale pattern and gives the iguana a more lifelike look. What do you think of this little reptile? More realistic articulated animals are coming soon!

Hey! HexTrack is moving forward all the time, and I’m currently working on a third track design. If everything goes according to plan, it should let the robot handle some surprisingly difficult obstacles. Right now, I can already say that HexTrack laughs at stairs. It works great as an ultimate crawler, a base for sensors and add-ons, or even as a small scout robot for rough terrain. We are already halfway through the crowdfunding campaign, and we only need a few more backers to reach the threshold that unlocks the Mini version based on Bambu Lab CyberBrick. So by supporting the project, you get two completely different robots. And that’s the fun part — they may look almost identical on the outside, but mechanically every part is different. This was definitely not a simple scale-down job — turns out scaling doesn’t work nearly as easily as it sounds ;) I’m really happy to see this project growing. Thanks a lot to everyone who follows, comments, and supports it.

Hi everyone! Quick update — the HexTrack crowdfunding campaign had a really strong start and reached its goal fast, so I decided to add HexTrack Mini as a stretch goal. This is a completely new smaller model, not just a scaled-down version of the original. At first I thought I could simply shrink the design, but in reality almost every part had to be redesigned from scratch. If you want to find it quickly, go to MakerWorld, open the Crowdfunding section, and search for HexTrack Extreme Climber. You can also find it through my profile: TomczukCustoms. I wanted to keep the same climbing spirit in a more compact format, and I’m really curious what you think about this direction 👀 #3dprinting #rc #robotics #crawler #makerworld

Hi everyone! 👋 I wanted to share a small teaser of something that could come later if the main HexTrack campaign keeps growing. This is HexTrack Mini. At first, I thought I would just scale down most of the full-size parts… but that turned out to be completely wrong. In the end, almost every part had to be redesigned. So even though it looks like a smaller version, it actually became a completely different project. In this teaser, HexTrack Mini climbs onto a filament spool, drives back down, and then climbs onto the full-size HexTrack — all on a smooth wooden desk. What makes Mini especially interesting: - almost entirely based on the CyberBrick ecosystem - all required parts are available from MakerSupply on MakerWorld.com, except for a simple M4 threaded rod - zero soldering - fully programmable lighting - the whole robot can be printed in about one day on a Bambu Lab A1 Mini So while it looks like a miniature, it’s really its own build with its own strengths. If the main campaign keeps moving in the right direction, I’d love to bring this one in later too 🚀

🚀 HexTrack crowdfunding is LIVE! After a lot of prototyping and testing, the campaign is officially launched — now it’s time to push this project into a polished, repeatable release (final refinements, fit/tolerances, durability, and full documentation). ⚠️ Early Bird is limited, so if you want the best deal, don’t wait too long. 👉 Campaign link: https://makerworld.com/en/crowdfunding/216-hextrack-extreme-climber Thank you for every follow, share, and comment — it genuinely helps more than you think ❤️ #HexTrack #Crowdfunding #3DPrinting #Robot #Crawler #CyberBrick

#Crowdfunding Feature #tomczukcustoms #hextrack #Robot 🚀 HexTrack is LIVE on Crowdfunding! Hey everyone! I’ve just launched HexTrack on MakerWorld Crowdfunding 🎉 This is my most advanced 3D-printed climber/crawler project so far — built to tackle serious obstacles and stairs with articulated climbing arms and a rugged track setup. ✅ Working prototype (real driving + real climbing) 🎥 The YouTube demo is linked in this post (check it out!) 💡 Crowdfunding support helps me polish the design, improve fit & reliability, and finish the full documentation so anyone can build it. If you like this kind of “functional 3D printing” project, I’d really appreciate: a follow on the campaign feedback (what you’d improve / what you want to see next) and sharing it with friends who love robots, RC, crawlers, or engineering prints 🙌 Thanks for being here — let’s push 3D printed robotics further together. 🤖💥
