The Scania Nextgen defroster deflector experiment. Without these deflectors there is a very concentrated heat spot on the windshield. Our theory is that because of the concentrated heat, the windshield is more likely to crack by themselves. Therefore, with these deflectors/shields, the heat will be spread more upward and more evenly on the glass. By the time of this post, we have tested these on several trucks over a year without any failure. But there is still a whole winter yet to pass. It's exiting to see if our theory works as time pass! We mount the deflectors on every new trucks we delvier and replace windshields on (*only the local trucks*)
