I needed a refill spool, but I was in a hurry and didn’t want to wait to print a typical refill. So I came up with the idea of reusing the cardboard sides from standard cardboard spools. It’s faster, and it works great.

I had a lot of leaks caused by the middle connection breaking, so I had to do something about it. I made a reinforcement brace for the filter case.

Why print a whole new refill spool when you can reuse what you already have? I designed a lightweight adapter that lets you reuse the cardboard sides from a standard eSUN spool and turn them into a refill spool.
