I recently installed a fan vertical antenna that requires guy ropes. Pulling stakes every time I had to cut the grass was painful.
This "cup" allows you to bury a screw-type anchor below ground level so that you only have to remove the rope and you can easily mow over it.

Version 1 of this winder had the cable end retainer at the outside diameter of the spool. Because of that, you had to be careful how you wound it so the PL-259's wouldn't hit you in the wrist. This is an improvement over that since the starting end of the cable now attaches to the hub.
