The fit and finish and tolerance is designed to work best with PLA.If you are printing with high sinkage rate filament (some slik PLA), there might be some tolerance issues. It will still fit (loose fit), but the tension caused by friction will be greatly reduced.<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/410617/2024-01-09_dbde90d7228a9.gif"></figure>&nbsp;<h2>Design:</h2>It is a very simple mechanism; cable will gap by the rotation motion of the center knob. But I want to have dragon on top, so you can’t print with center knob upside down and I need to consider how to put the cable in the knob.So, I came up with a two-piece design, and locked two pins from the top pieces to the center knob.<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:37.36%;"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/410617/2024-01-09_93d88c40cf2c9.png"></figure>I was thinking of adding some gear underneath and to have lock mechanism. But after the test, the friction with tightened tolerance will act as lock to prevent cable from loosening. So, I removed the lock system and made it simple.&nbsp;&nbsp;<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:56.66%;"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/410617/2024-01-09_c355755b57ff2.png"></figure><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:52.09%;"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/410617/2024-01-09_97e17542ae712.png"></figure>After confirming it works. Now it’s time to make it a bit fancier. They all have been tested and confirmed worked.Detail will put on each print profile and instructed with Pictures.&nbsp;If you are printing with rainbow filament. You may encounter color does not match issue. I made a rainbow filament profile, you will print the box and knob first, then, lid, and the dragon last. This is an X1C Desktop Organizer. It was made to organize anything you want. A structured insert is coming soon. This doesn’t need an AMS! It can be printed with layer changes for multi-color. Finalmente ho trovato il modo per mettere in ordine le bobine ed averle a portata di mano. Per la stampa uso filamenti che sono li da tempo e che non mi servono più.Il bello di questo progetto è che non servono attrezzi, colle o altro per completare, devi solo incastrare i pezzi stampati.Su questo rack puoi mettere bobine da 1 KG o da 250 GR, non ho bobine da 2 KG quindi se ne hai e ci stanno fammelo sapere :) In questo momento sto aggiungendo il terzo piano in altezza e tutto è stabile! Ho lasciato anche i disegni <a target="_blank" href="https://www.autodesk.it/products/fusion-360/overview?term=1-YEAR&tab=subscription" rel="nofollow noopener">Fusion 360</a> per poter modificare come ti pare partendo da zero in base alle tue esigenze.Se sei neofita, o hai una stampante “economica” e usi filamenti di scarsa qualità potresti riscontrare problemi di tolleranza degli incastri. Ti consiglio di provare a fare un pezzo e se non va bene modificare il DXF dopo aver misurato con un calibro digitale i pezzi di prova.Guarda il video in descrizione per vedere come è facile incastrare il tuo nuovo rack.
