It all started with a project my teacher assigned me—to design an RJ45 clip replacement for his broken cable. I had no experience with CAD, so I had to learn everything from scratch. The only free software available to me was Blender, I dove in, learning the software and figuring out how to create a functional, 3D-printable design. It was a tough journey, but in the end, I not only built a working RJ45 clip saver, but I also gained CAD skills along the way.
