I realized recently that I have thousands of photos sitting on my phone, but I never actually look at them. Digital frames are cool, but they just feel like... more screens. I wanted to build something tactile. Something that required interaction. I’ve always been obsessed with those old-school split-flap arrival boards at train stations—the sound, the motion, the anticipation. I decided to recreate that mechanical magic, but sized for a desk.
