#How I Started #Usergames #Usergames First Challenge
3d Printing was probably one of the hardest things to get into, 3d designing on the other hand, was even harder.
Now in 2024-2025, the company I work for has paid for the best of the best fusion 360 account, which I still only use for rudimentary designs. ( I specialize in math), but it allowed me to discover some things that make designing a lot easier, and I do not even have to pay for a fusion 360 license. After recommendations from friends and youtube videos, I discovered bambu labs, bought a P1S, and now I am very happy that I have it. I talked to @Creative_User , and discovered that he uses Tinker-Cad, or something similar,(I can't remember), and was very surprised. So, to all of you out there, use whatever 3d software that aligns with your skills, be-it math, architecture, art, or something else. Just keep designing.
(This is a repost, i needed to add all of the topics, my bad)

#How I Started
3d Printing was probably one of the hardest things to get into, 3d designing on the other hand, was even harder.
Lets start all the way back to when I first started 3d- printing as a 16 year old, 2018. Overall, I had not known much, and decided to get my first printer, a prusa. (Not a good idea). After that, I still had no idea how to get models, and had thought that you needed to design every one. I first started free and easy, with tinker-cad. Tinker-cad, in my opinion is a very dumbed down 3d design software, which only uses basic shapes. and extrude processes. For a long time, I had not 3d designed, and had learned about thingiverse, the ghetto of 3d designs, where you can find anything.
Now, going to my next 3d printer, in 2020, I had found the Ender 3 S1 pro, which was supposedly the best printer out there. (It was not). But luckily, my college professor had told me about Fusion 360, a very complex 3d design software. At this point I still am bad at designing anything other than gears and levers to move objects.
Now in 2024-2025, the company I work for has paid for the best of the best fusion 360 account, which I still only use for rudimentary designs. ( I specialize in math), but it allowed me to discover some things that make designing a lot easier, and I do not even have to pay for a fusion 360 license. I'm currently printing a Mark-85 iron man helmet. It is my first cosplay prop. I do not know if I should paint in in warmachine colors, or basic iron man colors.
