<p>I designed this display stand for FPV style drones.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Buy online:</strong></p><p>If you don't have a 3D printer but would like one of these, I now sell them on my Etsy store here:<br><a target="_blank" href="https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1411458192" rel="nofollow noopener">https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1411458192</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Whilst I built this from scratch, there are a couple already on here that I took inspiration from, but I found them either unbalanced or that they require a crazy amount of support material to print.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This <strong>doesn't require any support material</strong>, and it can hold even larger drones (see pictured my Chimera 7 HD) at a cool looking 25 degree angle very securely.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In the pictures you can see it holds a wide range of drones, from my Bumblebee, through the Nazgul5, all the way up to the Chimera 7!</p><p>If you'd like to check if it will fit your quad in it's default scale, the two prongs are 55mm apart (centre to centre) and are 5mm wide.</p><p>For most drones, you'll rest your quad with the front arms hooking behind the prongs. You could probably get away with lower infill (especially for smaller/lighter quads), but as I was going to be using heavier quads on it I didn't want to risk it. Even if you do lower the infill for most of it, I'd recommend using a decent amount of infill on the prongs as this is what will be holding back the drone from sliding off so you don't want them to be brittle. Thank you!</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Quick assembly tip: Start from the front of the vehicle along with both side parts, then move over the hood to the roof. Then begin assembling the internal parts followed by the trunk. Mount the pre-assembled chassis with wheels last.
