I wanted to create a cleaner looking tool holder that matches the slope of the AMS riser v2. I wanted something that wasn't tool specific and looks better.

I had a great time learning and comparing fusion 360 to onshape to make this rather complicated model. It took 7 prototypes to get the spacing for all the tabs in the correct spots, the tabs to print strong enough, and to get the rounded profiles to line up nicely. Great learning experience overall. It really helped to take a straigh on shot of the side and top profile I could convert to rough SVG shape and bring into onshape sketch layer to start building off of. #Community Featured Post

Didn't have support for this new GT-AIR 3 helmet and my old Cardo Freecom 4x. My first real complicated model teaching myself Onshape.
