Spool adapter/protector for all Polymaker (inc PolyTerra & Polylite), Overture and Inland cardboard spools. Perfect for the Bambu Lab AMS and AMS-Lite.&nbsp;My <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/29869" rel="nofollow noopener">original adapter</a> based on the Polymaker version works fantastically with polymaker and overture spools and the AMS but had some limitations. Namely, it had trouble fitting on the AMS Lite due to the inner lip and its rigidty came at the cost of its thickness.&nbsp;This redesigned version corrects all these issues and provides an even better fit with the cardboard spools. And unlike the super-thin edge-only adapters available elsewhere, this makes use of the oval-sphaped hole to provide a strong connection that wont slide around or slip off while in use.<h3>Notable features include:</h3><ul><li>Snug fit with all overture/polymaker spools (tested personally with multiple variations).</li><li>Better opening placement of the edge holes</li><li>Thin edge profile, making it a much better fit for the original AMS (without needing any conversions)</li><li>Thin face profile, making the spools less bulky and also reducing filament usage and print time</li><li>Enhanced edge clips which reduce damage to the spool edges compared to the orginal version</li><li>Makes use of the oval hole to privode a strong fit while in use, while also allowing easy removal</li></ul><h3>Printing</h3>Prints equally well in PLA and PETG. PETG is recommended to enhance its longetivity (due to better layer adhesion).<h3>Remixing</h3>This model can be remixed using the provided Onshape link or via your own tools using the provided Step file. They&#39;re gonna miss out on whatever is happening outside the bathroom all the sudden.&nbsp;This. I&#39;ve had it up for 2 days as a test, and its already working. Heck, its reminded me just as often when I&#39;m in a hurry. It&#39;s a marvel what can happen when there&#39;s just a little visual cue.&nbsp;I highly recommend it.&nbsp;It&#39;s a 4 color print, which again, you&#39;re totally capable of doing with or without an AMS system. It&#39;s a 4.5 hour print or so, and measures 6 inches tall (~160mm).&nbsp;--------------Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mmFilaments Used: PLA BambuLab Basic Black Transmission Distance: 0.6 PLA BambuLab Basic Pink Transmission Distance: 8 PLA BambuLab Basic Yellow Transmission Distance: 4 PLA Default White Transmission Distance: 5Swap Instructions: Start with Black At layer #9 (0.8mm) swap to Pink At layer #23 (1.92mm) swap to Yellow At layer #26 (2.16mm) swap to White for the rest. &nbsp;
