Construction company owner dabbling in 3D printing - finding small solutions to smaller problems.
I built this to help guide my gate latch cable so it would not rub against the 2x4 framing or change paths upon operation. It was designed so a cable can be inserted and/ or removed/ replaced without removing the guide. Most fluted head screws should work with the final printed part. You will need to turn on auto support for one of the barrels to print correctly.

This is such a great idea!! I printed 4 and they printed well. I'm not exactly sure what the 'ribbed' squares are on the front of the sliding portion of the piece and they printed a little funky for me, but it didn't affect the print at all other than some esthetic value which if behind a picture, i'm not sure many will care. 5 stars still even with the weird print thing on the front slider - absolutely awesome idea!!

Anyone else have this issue with PLA on the textured PEI plate on X1C?
I have this weird spotting showing up on many of my models on the textured PEI plate. I have tried removing directly after print and allowing to cool completely - all with mixed results. That said this happens about 50% of the time, not always this bad but either way i like to print on this plate because i like the texture at finish so frequently i make parts 'face down' so i can get this effect. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and/ or has a fix they can share.
