I have always liked to Tinker, improve upon OEM products and create upgrades. Ive been heavily into the RC hobby for many years. RC Planes, cars, quads and although new to 3D printing Ive already come up with some GOODIES for some of toys I already have. Hobbies include RC anything, snowboarding, tennis, pickleball, weight lifting, boating, wakeboarding and now 3D printing. I'll deff be contributing origional models to this site.
I printed this model and loved it! SO MUCH DETAIL and works great with my dot5. I did find a couple of points that I wasn't thrilled with. One of them being the way the wings fit into the cockpit. They are a loose fit and the hole they fit into is very shallow. I'm not a fan of glue and decided to modify it so that the wings could be pushed in a bit deeper and tight enough that the pressure alone made for a secure fit. I also happen to own a lot of GoPro mounts and found that the origional models GoPro mount holes are actually too small. I Enlarged them to 5.2mm to accommodate the GoPro supplied hardware. I realized that the Amazon Glow has the same radius as the Dot 4 and 5 and thought it would be cool to have one as a lamp also not just a dot holder. It would fit with the origional design but I decided to modify the back end of the cockpit for the glow and came up with a stand that was minimal and hides the wire. Pictured are my final print with all the mods and the Glow.

For those of you who have download and are enjoying this print profile I wanted to thank you. Also here's an update. I just added a 2nd print profile to the mix which has Roof V2 on it. The new Roof Panel protects the light bar and the associated mounting hardware. Please take a look, I think you'll prefer this new Roof Design.
Thank you, Ron(Edited)

The SunLu AMS dryer has been a great addition to my printer set up. After a couple of weeks with it I found myself fumbling around though when changing filaments. It pretty much takes 2 hands to open and there is nothing to grab. It's just awkward if you already have the spool in hand and just want to open the top and load it. This simple handle is the fix.
I went with a super strong double back tape to attach it. Please check out the attached text file for a link to order the tape.

This designer is no doubt one of the most meticulous and detail oriented people alive. I wouldn't have the patients to design something this complicated. Heck, I wouldn't have the patients to write up the detailed description! It took a few days for me to get it all printed and it was soooo worth the wait. Every part printed flawlessly and with the detailed instructions assembly was easy and satisfying. I took the liberty of incorporating the designers build plate holder by modifying the right bottom side of the rack so that the holder actually fits in a groove and essentially becomes a part of the entire design. The perfect solution for multiple AMS units.

Great little watering bucket. It printed beautifully and even though the creator mensions leave the supports in place even though they may be a bIt hard to remove I found all of the supports come off easily and cleanly. The only support That was a bit tough for me to remove was one of the ones inside the bucket that supports the handle. I did get mine out cleanly but in retrospect it wouldn't hurt to just leave it there anyway. Its not advertised as a cactus anything but to me it looked like a cactus and that was exactly what i was looking for! BONUS! I keep in on display in the pot.

This has to be one of the nicest prints to come off of my printer. The fit and finish are remarkable. I cant imagine a better solution for stacking the AMS. I took the liberty of remixing Wills Build Plate holder to attach to the rack as well. I shared it with Will and perhaps he will offer that as an additional option in the future.

These clips are great! I printed the closed ended version and like others mention they are a tight fit. I printed in PETG and was sure Id break them trying to get them on but after finding the proper angle it took only seconds to pop them on.

Being new to the Basher scene I took my new MT10 to a skate park to learn how to use it. Well, concrete isn't very forgiving. After a while I got the hang of it but not before collecting lots of scrapes and a bit of actual damage to the body. As painful as it was the damaged body served as a great template to design these skids. Basically protecting and covering most of the damage. Since installing the skids Ive had no more damage and the unforgiving Skate Park is still my playground.

It Printed well and is cute but the first pic shown the dog has flowing hair and more detail in the Paws then the file that is uploaded. I printed it in mult colors with fuzzy skin and although not as pictured its still cute

I really love the sturdy design of this stand. As you can see I havent gotten my 2nd AMS yet but even just using it to free up the space on top of the Printer stand is great. Im sure I'll end up printing the parts to make it taller when i get the additional AMS. In the mean time i did remix a bit adding the AWESOME build plate holder to the shorter version. Thank you for a great contribution!
