Keeping the power to servos creates buzz. How long does one charge last? Not sure, but it is in the hours, not in minutes. How long will it take to print everything? Depends on your printer and nozzle size. On my Ender 5Pro with a 0.6mm nozzle, total print time is about 48 hours. How much filament do I need? 1kg roll should cover it all.

This automata uses pinwheels and an isometric wheel to spin the UFO and vertically move the abducting cow. I have split the parts into 3 beds based on their colour. Most use the generic settings except the cow which must have a heavy infill to gain its required weight. Edit: added a second plate for Lid without supports as requested by user, added new plate for different orientation of spots, added new plate for one piece flower body if anyone wants to AMS multicolor it Yet ANOTHER Mario themed piggy bank model! This time we have a GIANT 2ft tall piranha plant floor bank! This model was originally meant to be a coin sorter as well but after many failed iterations I decided to just have it be a spiral ramp as all the designed I tried I could not acheive 100% success on the coin sorting. This piggy bank is LARGE and has many parts!  This is not meant to be a toy or moved around constantly and is meant more as a floor decor piece that you can throw loose change into as you walk in. Printing in orientation provided will be successful but will leave some slight blemishes on the underside of the rounded edges. Once everything is assembled these areas are hardly noticeable so its user choice of if you would rather have a slightly wonky bottom that can probably be nailed with great supports, or a seam where you glued the pieces together. Cut versions are provided on seperate plates All connectors have a tolerance of .2mm and should fit easily into the provided holes, glue both halves of the ramp together as well as the bottom piece. Glue your spots onto your flower body, then attach the plant lips to the flower body, mine fit so snugly in place I didn't even have to glue it. Slide your flower body over the top of the coin funnel and it should fit into place with some slight persuasion, once that is seated and glued you may then add the top of the coin funnel to the ramp. Glue your teeth in place and youre good to go!  If you're worried about stability you can glue the entire vine into the top of the lid to hold it in place. Happy Printing!

A quick lil spider for left over Filament. It can look quite realistic on the first look. Please re-orient the object or enable support generation.” You can ignore this warning. The program is recognizing the space between each layer of the slinky. That ‘space’ is intentional and necessary to be able to separate the slinky when it is done printing. It will print fine without supports:)&nbsp;Tip: I recommend multicolor filament (dual-color or tri-colored filament) or rainbow colored filament for the slinky. I used rainbow colored filament but just a heads up: to get all the colors of the rainbow in there I had to print 5-6 at a time because the color repeat on my spool was about 200g (the small slinky is ~32g and the large slinky is ~47g).&nbsp;Dimensions of Large Pot of Gold Slinky: 3 ½ in. x 3 in.Dimensions of Small Pot of Gold Slinky: 3 in. x 2 ½ in.&nbsp;How to assemble:Step 1: First, gently separate the layers of the slinky. After printing they will be lightly connected together. Gently separate them with your fingers or a non-sharp object like a butter knife. (See photo)Step 2: Next, super glue the pile of gold piece to one end of the slinky. (See photo)Step 3: Super glue the other end of the slinky to the bottom of the pot. This piece is loose inside the pot but is too big to come out. Set the pot on a small object (I used a spool of thread) to raise up the ‘bottom’ piece of pot. Apply glue to the bottom of the slinky and then attach it to the bottom piece of the pot. Setting it on a bottle/spool isn't necessary but it makes the gluing process a little easier. This is my Meta Quest 3 hanger. It have very good fit for goggles and controllers, because their 3D models were used for this project.&nbsp;I recommend to use 3 screws to place it on place (wall) - no glue needed.&nbsp;###################Update 19.01.2024&nbsp;Project is still alive.Just today I added new version of controllers holders - now you can also place there controllers with aliexpress straps (check out photos) For people who use silicone covers - I prepared ring holders. It also should be good for you. Better than old ones, as previous version was intended for “naked” controllers, without any covers.

If you like to show appreciation for the effort that went into creating this model, pls hit that BOOST button!&nbsp;This a Batman figure modeled after Batman: The Animated Series with styling by Bruce Timm.&nbsp;Watching Batman: The Animated Series (BTAS) and Justice League Unlimited animated shows, back in the day, I was introduced to Bruce Timm&#39;s minimalist, angular outlines and I loved his designs ever since. I thought that with this simplified contours, I don&#39;t need to know anatomy and would be able to draw/sculpt his characters. I collected reference materials and studied this particular style in hopes that one day I will be able to draw characters in this style.&nbsp;Life happened and 30 years after, with the tools available today, I finally had the time and courage to learn digital sculpting. It was a dream come true being able to sculpt and 3D print Bruce Timm&#39;s version of Batman.&nbsp;Throughout the sculpting process, I made sure the overall minimalist styling, angular contours and the face sculpt are accurate to the animated version but reduced some of the exaggerated proportions to improve it further. Since I would like have the chance to swap different designs with a single lightbox, I modeled this engineered frame.&nbsp;I also created a <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/169912#profileId-186594" rel="nofollow noopener">container for the plates</a> design that also functions as a riser for the lightbox itself.Remember to check out my <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/u/1679778733/collections/506498" rel="nofollow noopener">collection of swappable front plates</a> for new designs.&nbsp;Attention: during the printing turn off completely the auxiliary fan to avoid warping of the model.&nbsp;It's really sturdy, easy to print without supports and easy to assemble.&nbsp;It features (see model images for details):<ul><li>Press-fit back cover with holes for wall mount and cutouts for cable management.</li><li>Holes caps for hiding wall mount holes when non used.</li><li>Internal indentation for led strip alignment. I designed this businesscard embosser to be modular and 3D printable without using any support and without any hardware required to assemble. The tollerances are tight. And some materials work better then others. I have had best results using Basic PLA. I designed this modular shelf to store my filament colour samples (Filla Fella by Fillamentum https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723234). The individual modules can be clipped together using a small clamp, creating a very stable shelving system. If desired, you can print and clip on a foot on the left and right.&nbsp;&nbsp;Um meine Filamentfarbmuster (Figur Filla Fella by Fillamentum <a target="_blank" href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723234" rel="nofollow noopener">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723234</a>) aufzubewahren, habe ich mir dieses modulare Regal entworfen. Die einzelnen Module können mittels einer kleinen Klemme zusammengeclipst werden und ergeben somit ein recht stabiles Regalsystem. Auf Wunsch kann man sich links und rechts noch einen Fuß drucken und anclipsen.

This is a ground pod, and camera gimbal for wildlife and macro photography. It is mostly 3D printed, and just requires a couple of bearings and some nuts and bolts. It is quite strong enough to hold my camera (~ 1.6 Kg) and I wouldn't expect any problems, with decently robust printing up to 2 Kg at least.First, a couple of notes. The photos are of the prototype, and have a few minor differences. The upper bearing has been raised 10mm in the design posted here, to allow for the Arca plate. The main arm joins the lower pivot in a neater fashion. I need to acquire/design a longer Arca plate to balance the camera (as you can see, this setup is typically back heavy, and I ran out of adjustment room), and for macro work with short lenses, an adaptor has to be developed to raise and move forward the arca mount for better balance.This design includes circular storage spots to store lens caps, teleconverters, etc. There are holes already in place to run shockcord. The storage spots are easily wide enough for a 72mm lens cap. The design rotates very smoothly. All axes have bearings and very little friction.There are two variants of the skimmer pod. The original has a curved base so that it is better on uneven ground. This also makes it challenging to print, so I've also included a flat base option.There are also two spacers included that can be added to the skimmer pod if you either want a higher setup, or cannot get 3/8 bolts short enough. They aren't really complete. They should have some way of being permanently attached so they can't fall off, but I decided I wouldn't need them and didn't do any further work on them. :PIn the future if I get around to it, axis clamps should be added so that a camera can be locked into position.Hardware needed is: 2 thrust bearings 9 ID x 20 OD x 7 high. 2 x 608 bearings 1 3/8" nut and 3/4" long bolt (to give the skimmer pod a common tripod bolt thread, and to allow the gimbal to screw onto it. 1 x 30 mm M8 bolt and nut for the vertical axis of the gimbal. 1 x 25mm M8 bolt with countersunk head and not for gimbal arm attachment 1 x 60mm M8 bolt and nut for upper gimbal axis 1 x 50mm M5 bolt and nut for Arca clamp.To put together: 1) Insert 3/8 bolt into base of skimmer pod. Seal with appropriate skimmer pod bolt holder. A drop of glue may be needed to prevent the cover falling out. 2) Insert the 3/8 nut into the side of the gimbal baseplate, and push it down into the lower position. 3) Then place an M8 nut into the M8 nut clamp and place it into the side of the gimbal baseplate. It should align with the hole at the top of the baseplate. 4) Place the lower thrust bearing on the baseplate, then the top plate, then the second thrust bearing, then the top bearing cover, and bolt them all in place with the 30mm M8 bolt. The top plate should turn freely. 5) Drop an 8mm nut into the side of the top plate, and screw the gimbal arm to it using the 25mm m8 counter sunk bolt. 6) insert a 608 bearing into each side of the top of the gimbal arm. Place the 60mm bolt through the gimbal bearing knob, then through the bearings, then the camera arm bearing plate, the camera arm, and secure with an 8mm nut. 7) Drop the 5mm nut into the hole of the arca plate mount. Put the 5mm bolt through the arca clamp knob, the arca clamp and into the 5mm nut. 8) Put a camera on it. Take some photos.<h3>Print instructions</h3>I printed with 3-4 perimeters, and 20-30% gyroid infill in PLA+. Consider the parts, and which ones are under stress the most. eg: The arms, arca clamp, and topplate need more infill and perimeters. The knobs, baseplate, etc, not so much.
